Our Opportunity:
The Multimedia Designer is a creative practitioner responsible for executing the visual and motion identity of Purdue Global. This role develops compelling marketing materials across all digital channels to drive student engagement. You will ensure brand consistency while producing high-quality output that resonates with a professional audience.
What to expect in this role:
Short-Form Video Production: Script, edit, and animate short-form video content specifically for LinkedIn and other social platforms.
Motion Graphics Development: Transform static data into dynamic motion stories to explain complex career-focused degree paths to prospective learners.
Graphic Design: Create and execute visually compelling static marketing collateral, including social media posts and web banners, that consistently align with the Purdue Global brand identity.
Digital Brand Execution: Ensure every video and graphic adheres to the Purdue Global visual identity.
Agile Content Iteration: Collaborate with the Creative Director to rapidly test different video hooks and visual styles based on enrollment performance data.
Multimedia Asset Management: Organize a robust library of video clips and B-roll to pivot quickly for urgent marketing needs.
Experience:
Bachelor's degree required. 3 years related experience. Preferably based in the West Lafayette area, but not required.
Required Competencies:
Video Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Visual Storytelling: Ability to distill a student's career journey into a 15-second compelling visual narrative.
Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of technical specifications and audience behaviors on LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
Accessibility Standards: Ensuring all video content includes proper captioning and meets ADA requirements.
What we're looking for:
Strong communication (written, verbal, presentation) and collaboration skills. Proactive, organized, efficient, detail-oriented, accountable, and enthusiastic. Ability to balance multiple, competing directions and manage multiple projects successfully. Ability to meet deadlines and work independently. Familiarity with ADA Accessibility Guidelines. Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office suite software and Google applications.
Additional Information:
Target salary is up to $70,000. Purdue University Global will not sponsor employment authorization for this position. A background check will be required for employment. FLSA: Exempt (Not Eligible For Overtime). Purdue Global is an EO/EA employer.
